| In May 2008, the Nyenrode International
Business & Study Events Foundation was established
by a group of Nyenrode Part-time Master of Science in
Management (PTMSc) students of the year 2006-2008. The
main goal of the foundation is to support the educational
goals of Nyenrode Business University as much as possible
by organising study related events in the Netherlands
and abroad and by stimulating international contacts
between companies, PDP/PTMSc students and alumni of
Nyenrode. The foundation has a particular focus on the part-time Master of Science in Management students, but it should be noted that there is no limitation to other programs within our highly valued Nyenrode institute. The phrase: "everybody within the Nyenrode community is highly driven, and prepared to help others to end the program in a good manner and for any other need" is herewith fullfiled even more. The initiative was launched because of the fact that the founders felt a need to keep in touch at the end of the program when their weekly class sessions were finished and everybody went into the thesis finalization and the demanding daily business live. It is the foundations goal to offer as much as possible events and activities, organized in close cooperation with the participants, ensuring the harvest of all future contacts and continued relationships created by and from these initiatives. The foundation is managed on free basis by a group of PTMSc10 students.
